Under 13 Orchestra has demanded the commitment and dedication of many people and musicians who have made their talent available to help grow this project and allow it to become one of the most prestigious musical endeavours on the Italian scenario.
We would like to thank all of those who have contributed to the growth of the orchestra during these years, by preparing our young musicians with passion and dedication for concerts, lessons and rehearsals.
Taking into account all of our teachers, we would also like to give thanks to the Directors that have followed them and have given so much to this extraordinary group. A heartfelt thank you from us and all of the children to: Luigi Di Fronzo, Marcello Sirotti and Paolo Belloli.
The Team dedicated to this project is currently composed of:
General Management and Institutional Relations: Anna Mortara, President of the Foundation La Nuova Musica and Pianist.

Artistic Management: Anna Mortara, Sergio Delmastro and Alessandra Masiello

Under 13 Orchestra Director: Sergio Delmastro, clarinettist and Director, who with enthusiasm and always finding a way to make the children active participants in every creative phase of the sound interpretation and research, directs them like real professionals. Rehearsal after rehearsal, the orchestra grows with him because playing music becomes entertainment and team work.

Educational Management: Alessandra Masiello, clarinettist and Under 13 Orchestra pedagogic director. Being responsible for didactics, Alessandra Masiello coordinates the project in terms of the arrangements of the parts, valuing each young musician by finding the most appropriate role for them, while maintaining equilibrium in and among all section, even when small children take the place of some of the older, more experienced ones. It is exactly those musicians, who have grown and developed in Under 13 Orchestra who become Tutors to the younger ones and follow them during their rehearsals. They then join a reduced orchestra and in the chamber groups, putting into practice the many years of expertise gained in the Under 13 Orchestra.
Staff responsible for the individual sections:
Under 13 Orchestra is a symphonic orchestra complete in all its sections including basses, brass, bassoons and horns. Each section is followed and supported by a teacher or Tutor, a qualification that orchestra members gain at the end of their formative path. Teachers follow the children every week during the section rehearsals and during their instrumental lessons, as well as guiding them in the general rehearsals with the Director through extraordinary and tireless dedication.

Tutors:
Children, but now teenagers, who have studied with us and are now about to receive their certifications, have priority teaching within our structure and are Senior Tutor Cecilia Drago and Alessandro Muzi Falconi.
